By D. Clay Hays It's almost time Lake Rats, and just as the 2008 drawdown was earlier than usual, so shall be the 2009 refill! So be aware. We're talking less than 10 days away now people so don't dilly-dally. You know what can happen when the lake comes up - Anything! Here's the official word right out of Entergy's "Life on the Lakes" newsletter:  The new monitoring system at Blakely Dam sounds great to me! I'm close enough that, if it ever broke, all I'd have time for is to take a deep breath. That's not my idea of a trip down-river so tighten her up good boys!
