By D. Clay Hays Here's a just-in-time alert for Indie Music fans and anyone looking for something to do in Hot Springs next week/weekend. Maybe we'll get lucky and the weather won't suck like it has so far this week! It's time to jam again in Hot Springs as the 5th Annual Valley of the Vapors Independent Music Festival gears up for a week-long event. The festival kicks off at 5:30 p.m. March 17 in conjunction with the World's Shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade on Bridge Street and continues at the Low Key Arts building at 118 Arbor Street. Various Valley of the Vapors, or "VOV", festival events will occur throughout the week, most of which require a modest cover. Then on Saturday, March 21, there's a FREE 8 p.m. show and Sunday, 2 p.m. marks the return of the All Day Band BBQ Blowout! The best $5 you ever spent buys some great BBQ to go along with a seemingly endless line-up of great bands from all over the world!
